Concourse is a B2B SaaS platform for corporate finance teams. I designed Concourse Copilot end to end: an AI assistant embedded directly into the financial dashboard that lets finance teams query, analyze, visualize and act on their financial data through natural language. Instead of navigating reports, filters and multiple views, users ask questions, explore the answer conversationally and turn useful insights into reusable dashboard content.

Diseñé Concourse Copilot de punta a punta: un asistente de IA integrado en el dashboard financiero que permite consultar, analizar, visualizar y accionar sobre los datos en lenguaje natural. En lugar de recorrer reportes, filtros y vistas, los usuarios hacen preguntas, exploran la respuesta conversando y convierten los insights útiles en contenido reutilizable del dashboard.

Financial teams often need to answer questions by combining information across invoices, payments, vendors, spending and financial reports. A seemingly simple question could require multiple screens, filters, period comparisons and manual reports. The goal was a conversational layer that made this faster and more intuitive while keeping the clarity and traceability that financial decisions require. It needed to go beyond a traditional chatbot.

I worked closely with the founders and the development team. Rather than treating the Copilot as a separate AI product, I focused on how it could enhance the workflows already happening in Concourse. The main design questions were:

The Copilot launched and is live as part of Concourse's core dashboard experience. The feature was designed to:
